As Barbara continues to evolve professionally, her commitment to the power of storytelling remains unwavering, driving her to create meaningful and impactful narratives that transcend borders, languages, and culture.

Barbara's latest chapter unfolds at a leading sonic branding agency, where she played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for a new Marketing & Communications department. She's worked with brands like Bacardí, Mastercard, Mercedes-Benz, DocuSign, Elica, Zurich Insurance, Share Now, Kraft Heinz, Avocados from Mexico, Landor, and WPP to name a few.

In 2019, Barbara channeled her creative energies to launching "Work In Progress," her own podcast. This passion project blossomed into two seasons, featuring interviews with remarkable individuals from all walks of life, each episode is a testament to the diverse stories that shape our society. Beyond podcasting, Barbara ventured into the realm of digital marketing, lending her professional experience and expertise to an array of clients across industries in both B2B and B2C style of communication.

From an early age, Barbara was enamored by the captivating power of storytelling, a passion that led her to the University of Southern California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism with a minor in Spanish in 2017. As a student, Barbara roamed the globe, reporting from the U.S.-Mexico border to the historic landscapes of Greece. Journalism spearheaded her career in both local and network news with Univision and ABC News. Afterwards, she freelanced with media outlets like NPR, The New York Times, VICE, HyperAllergic, The Mujerista, NAHJ's palabra, and We are Mitú to name a few.

The vibrant sounds, rhythmic music, and unique characters of Miami is the city that raised Barbara and into the person she is today. Barbara's Cuban heritage has been her compass and beacon of inspiration. Her life has taken her far and wide, from the quaint Dutch streets of Amsterdam to the Basque corners of Bilbao, Spain. She's called several countries home, including Spain, The Netherlands, and Germany.
